Pilot Season: NBC Picks Up J.J. Abrams, Eric Kripke Pilot Revolution (omg!)

NBC has picked up a drama pilot from J.J. Abrams and Eric Kripke.

Written by Supernatural's Kripke, Revolution is a high-octane action drama that follows a group of characters struggling to survive and reunite with loved ones in a world where all forms of energy have mysteriously ceased to exist. Abrams, Kripke and Bryan Burk will executive-produce.

Pilot Season: The CW orders dramas from J.J. Abrams and Mark Harmon

On Tuesday, The CW picked up Abrams' Shelter, a drama set at a historic New England summer resort where the new and returning staff attend to the needs of the guests while navigating their own friendships, rivalries and romances.
